TIFFANYHISTORY
Taking a look at Tiffany & Co's rich history opens up the possibilities for the design of the Tiffany sneaker. I wanted to show off their dependability as a brand, their iconic color scheme, and their willingness to collaborate and evolve their brand. Tiffany was the first luxury jewelry brand my mom bought for me and I wanted to call out that nostalgia in my designs. This is not a full timeline but rather dates I feel inspired my design process.
TIFFANY ALREADY HAS A SNEAKER?
THEAESTHETIC
This sneaker is meant to be an accessory to everyday life. An upscale shoe for a minimalist outfit. I wanted the shoe to be comparable to some of Tiffany's simplistic jewelry, being treated as a higher end piece but very practical and wearable.
THENOSTALGIA
Outside influences include the varsity aesthetic, the nostalgia of going to a high school sports game, and bringing back youth in these basketball-style shoes. More inspo was derived from the style and muted color palette of vintage cars as well as racing stripes.
